I am transcribing parish registers held at ERO for St Andrew’s, CoE church, in White Colne. Full transcriptions are available below for baptisms, burials and marriages. They can also be searched at www.FreeREG.org.uk.
Notes:
- The register covering 1560-1705 is in very poor condition. Rather than present the transcriptions alphabetically by surname, I have provided it in, as far as is possible, chronological order.
- The burials register is fairly strong until 1625, where it ends, with some burials for the 1660s and seven burials from 1765-6.
- The next register for baptisms, burials and marriages starts in the early 1700s, with marriages until 1759 and baptisms and burials to 1783.
