Wills are a wonderful resource for family history research. You never know might pop up, or if a lucky dip might yield dividends. I am going through wills left by people with the surname Nunn (and variants), and below you’ll be able to find the names of the people mentioned in the wills, and their relationships (if given) to the testator. The wills are broken down by county, then by century, and are listed chronologically. If you use a Windows PC, hold down control and F for a search box to appear. You can use that to search for specific names on the page. Android phones: use Chrome, press the three dots in the corner, and use “Find in Page”.
As this is a big job, I’m starting with my focus being from the 1780s up to 1858. The lists of wills are not necessarily exhaustive. Please check The National Archives’ Discovery catalogue for PCC wills (which are also available with some Ancestry subs. Indexes to PCC wills can be found on Findmypast as part of their “England & Wales Published Wills & Probate Indexes, 1300-1858” set), ERO and SRO, and all other sources for wills. Wills for people with the surname Nunn will crop up in other counties too.
